Overview

Gridsy explores a digital presence for an architecture practice. Building imagery leads the presentation, supported by dedicated areas for projects, news, careers and studio information. The site uses a dark visual framework to bring different scales of architectural content together.

01 — Challenge

Architecture websites must accommodate both visual work and substantial supporting information. The challenge was to create continuity between project presentation, editorial material and practical studio content without making each page feel interchangeable.

02 — Approach

A consistent grid, fine dividing lines and restrained typography organize the experience. Large images establish the character of the work, while smaller content modules provide space for explanatory material. Changes in scale introduce rhythm within the shared structure.

03 — Outcome

The concept gives architectural work a coherent setting across portfolio and informational pages. Its grid supports varied content while retaining a recognizable relationship between imagery, headings and detail.
